Effect of Rolling Direction on Corrosion Properties of Zr-Sn-Nb Alloy
The electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),electrochemical workstation, scanning electron microscope(SEM)and other methods were applied to analyze the microstructure and electrochemical corrosion properties of Zr-Sn-Nb alloy plates with different rolling directions. The results show that cross-rolling is beneficial to grain refinement, the texture of hot-rolled plates are mainly<11(-2)0>//RD and<10(-1)0>//RD.Cross-rolling weakens the preferential orientation of Zr alloy sheet. It regulates the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloys by controlling the microstructure, effectively improves the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloy sheets, and the corrosion rate is 9.27%of that of sheet rolling along RD.
