Study on Solid Solution Treatment Process of Al-3.5Cu-2.0Mg-1.0Mn-0.3Y Alloy
Al-3.5Cu-2.0Mg-1.0Mn-0.3Y alloy was treated with solution at different temperatures and time,and then aged at 185 ℃ ×8 h.The optimal solution treatment technology of the alloy was studied by OM and hardness test.The results show that with the increase of solution temperature and solution time,the second phase of Al-3.5Cu-2.0Mg-1.0Mn-0.3Y alloy is dissolved into the matrix more and more,and the grain size of the alloy is gradually increased.The second phase of Al-3.5Cu-2.0Mg-1.0Mn-0.3Y alloy is basically dissolved into the matrix at 495 ℃ ×6 h.The maximum hardness of the alloy after solution at 495 ℃ ×6 h and aging at 185 ℃ ×8 h is 141 HB.The optimal solution process of the alloy is 495 ℃ ×6 h.
