Experimental Study on Process Parameters of Nano-WC Coating by ESD
To prepare nano-WC coatings meeting different requirements,the deposition experiments of nano-WC coatings on FS438 matrix were carried out.Different capacitance,discharge frequency and specific deposition time were used to explore the effects of different process parameters on coating thickness,roughness and mass transition.The experiment results show that the coating thickness increases with the increase of capacitance and discharge frequency,while the surface roughness decreases with the increase of discharge frequency,and the utilization of electrode material is higher at low pulse energy(50 V,40 μF).The surface of the coating presents sputtering of droplets,and the elements are mainly derived from electrode materials.The study has important references for the selection of deposition process technology.
