Research on Process of Three-roll Cross-rolling Piercing Titanium Alloy at Different Initial Temperatures
According to the technical characteristics of three-roll cross-rolling piercing process and the plastic deformation characteristics of titanium alloy,finite element software was used to simulate the piercing of TC4 titanium alloy under different initial temperatures,and the distribution of stress,strain,temperature and material flow during rolling process were analyzed.Taking the initial temperature as a variable,piercing tests were carried out,the rolling force and micro structure were compared under different initial temperatures.The results show that process of three-roll cross-rolling piercing is suitable for titanium alloy production,and titanium alloy tubes with deformed Widmanstatten structure can be obtained at different initial temperatures,the feasibility and effectiveness of three-roll cross-rolling piercing for titanium alloy tube production are verified,which provides guidance and basis for process promotion.
