Based on the actual working conditions of the φ880 mm ×400 mm horizontal double-roll rolling mill,the influence of casting temperature on the solidification welding line of AZ31 magnesium alloy in the casting-rolling area was analyzed by finite element simulation.The results show that the casting temperature has a significant influence on the position of the solidification welding line,but has less influence on its shape.As the casting temperature increases,the solidification weldinng line gradually approaches the outlet,the angle α between the edge Kiss point(K')and the bump on the Kiss line(K")and the line passing the K'point parallel to the casting direction decrease first and then increase.When casting temperatue is 965 K,it is very easy to leak during the casting-rolling process,and the suitable casting temperatue range is 915 K to 959 K.Comparing the simulation results under different casting temperatures,the ∠α is the smallest when the casting temperature is 945 K,which is conducive to alleviating the edge cracking of the magnesium alloy casting-rolling plate.
