Study on Radial Shear Extrusion Process to Fabricate Magnesium Alloy with High Performance and Fine Grains
In order to obtain the high performance and grain refined magnesium alloy,the continual radial shear extrusion process was designed.The effect of deformation temperature on the material flow,stress,strain evolution was analyzed by using finite element simulation software.Taking the simulation results as the guidance,the radial shear extrusion experiments were carried out at different temperatures.The results show that the grains can be refined obviously by the shear extrusion.It provides an effective way to achieve high performance magnesium alloy.
