Simulation Analysis of Pure Shear Deformation Process of Magnesium Alloy for Automobile
In order to weaken the texture and refine the grains to improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy,a pure shear extrusion deformation process was designed.The process was simulated and analyzed by the Deform 3D software.The results show that through the extrusion shear deformation,the magnesium alloy material exhibits asymmetric flow,and the deformation is mainly concentrated at the outside of the material.With the increase of the deformation degree,the strain extends to the inside,and then forms a large severe plastic deformation,weakens the texture and refines the grains,which is beneficial to the improvement of the comprehensive properties of the magnesium alloy.
