Control of Initial Residual Stress of 7050 Aluminum Alloy Load-bearing Frame Casting by Electromagnetic Coupling Treatment
The mechanical properties and initial residual stress of 7050 aluminum alloy load-bearing frame casting were studied by changing the process parameters of the electromagnetic coupling treatment. The results show that the tensile strength of 7050 aluminum alloy can be increased by 10 MPa,elongation increased by 16.73%,the resistivity increased by 3.24%and plasticity enhanced when the magnetic field intensity is 1.5 T and the current intensity is 25 A/mm2.Through the blind hole method and ultrasonic method, the initial residual stress of 7050 aluminum alloy load-bearing frame casting is small and evenly distributed. The initial residual stress can be reduced by about 10%with the magnetic field intensity of 1.5 T and current intensity of 20 A/mm2.
