Influence Mechanism of Fe Element on Microstructure and Properties of Al-Si Regenerative Aluminum Alloys and Its Control Technology
Al-Si casting aluminum alloys have good casting process,high strength,wear resistance and corrosion resistance and other advantages,which are widely used in aviation,aerospace,shipping,transportation,construction vehicles and other industries with lightweight demand.At the same time,Al-Si casting aluminum alloys can be reused for multiple times and have significant economic advantages.However,the accumulation of Fe impurities during the recycling process of aluminum alloys affects their quality and overall performance.The influence mechanism of Fe content on the microstructure and properties of the aluminum alloys was summarized,and the control of Fe element through element neutralization method,melt treatment method and heat treatment method was discussed.The control method of Fe impurity element in aluminum alloys was prospected.
