Inclusive Urban Growth in China:Spatial Agglomeration,Regional Differences and Convergence Characteristics
Based on the panel data of 271 cities in China from 2011 to 2020,the spatial agglomeration characteristics,region-al differences, and convergence of inclusive growth in Chinese cities were comprehensively investigated by using spatial econ-ometric model,Dagum Gini coefficient, and spatial convergence model. The results show that ①The level of inclusive growth in Chinee cities shows a gradual growth trend, and the level has a distribution pattern of"east>west>central";② Chi-na's inclusive growth has significant spatial agglomeration characteristics under the two spatial weight matrices;③ The Gini coefficient of China's inclusive growth shows a trend of rising first and then falling.Inter-regional and intra-regional differences are important sources of differences;④ The inclusive growth of the whole country and the central and western re-gions has the absolute β convergence feature, while the inclusive growth of the whole country and the three regions has the conditional β convergence feature.
