Spatial Analysis of the Factors Influencing Eco-Environment PPP Investment in the Yangtze River Economic Belt
This study uses a stepwise regression with global modeling and a geographically weighted regression with local modeling to study determinants of eco-environmental PPP investment in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from a spatially unbalanced perspective. The results show spatial clustering of eco-environmental PPP investments due to local govern-ments'rank competition in the political game and decision mimicry under shared responsibility. The transformation of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from a single pursuit of economic growth to an emphasis on green and sustainable development significantly influences the ecological and environmental quality of PPP investments.Local governments'fiscal burden and eco-environmental PPP investments are positively correlated. However,in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the rela-tionship becomes weaker and even transforms into a negative correlation, with the possibility of geographical criteria for social capital PPP investment.A good business environment is favorable for PPP investment.
