Consumption Choice Behavior of New Energy Vehicles Under the Carbon Credits Scheme
By constructing a model of new energy vehicle consumption choice under the carbon credits scheme, the feasibility of the carbon trading approach based on carbon emission reduction contribution and its impact on promoting new energy vehi-cles are investigated. The results show that the carbon emission factor, the average carbon emission reduction and purchase cost of new energy vehicles, and the conversion coefficient of carbon credits are important factors affecting the equilibrium price of carbon credits.Any change in average carbon emission reduction, the purchase cost of new energy vehicles, and car-bon emission factors will cause the equilibrium price to change in the same direction. The equilibrium price change can be adjusted by rationally setting the conversion coefficient of carbon credits. The smaller the conversion coefficient, the higher the equilibrium carbon price. The conclusion contributes to promoting new energy vehicles and the automotive industry's low-carbon transition after the subsidy policy's termination.
