Impact of G60 S&T Innovation Corridor of the Yangtze River Delta on Cross-regional Innovation Cooperation in Cities Along the Route
Based on panel data of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta from 2010 to 2021,this paper takes the construction of G60 science and innovation corridor as a quasi-natural experiment and comprehensively uses social network analysis,DID method, and spatial Durbin model to test the impact and mechanism of G60 S&T Innovation Corridor on innovation co-operation in cities along the route. Results show that:① The construction of the G60 S&T Innovation Corridor significantly improves the level of cross-regional innovation cooperation in cities along the route, and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.② With the continuous promotion of policy implementation, this promoting effect gradually strengthens, but the spatial spillover effect is still not obvious.③Compared to general-level cities, the G60 S&T Innova-tion Corridor has a greater impact on high-level cities along the route.④The G60 S&T Innovation Corridor has a positive impact on cross-regional innovation cooperation in cities along the route mainly by strengthening government innovation in-vestment,alleviating traditional financing constraints, improving the development level of digital finance, and promoting tal-ent agglomeration.
