人工智能技术对城市经济韧性的影响研究

基于2011-2021年中国288个地级市数据,构建面板平滑转移模型,考察人工智能技术对城市经济韧性的非线性影响。研究发现:人工智能技术与城市经济韧性之间呈U型关系。就影响机制而言,人工智能技术一方面通过增加创业活跃度提升城市经济韧性,另一方面通过加剧数字鸿沟降低城市经济韧性;从时间动态特征来看,人工智能技术对城市经济韧性的影响效应随时间变化呈现先抑制后促进的走势;异质性结果表明,人工智能技术对京津冀、长三角等城市群,高经济发展水平地区和大数据综合试验区试点城市经济韧性存在显著提升作用。而在北部湾、哈长等城市群以及低经济发展水平地区和非大数据综合试验区城市,人工智能技术反而削弱了城市经济韧性。
Impact of Artificial Intelligence Technology on Urban Economic Resilience
Based on the 288 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2021,the non-linear impact effect of AI on ur-ban economic resilience is examined by constructing a panel-smoothed transfer model.It was found that there is a U-shaped relationship between AI and urban economic resilience.Mechanism tests indicate that AI not only enhances urban e-conomic resilience by increasing entrepreneurial activity but also reduces urban economic resilience by exacerbating the dig-ital divide.Dynamic feature analysis shows that the impact effect of AI on urban economic resilience shows a trend of first inhibiting and then promoting over time.Heterogeneity results show that AI has a significant enhancing effect on the eco-nomic toughness of the Yangtze River Delta and other city clusters,as well as high economic development level regions and pilot cities in the big data comprehensive pilot zone.In the Beibu Gulf and other city clusters,as well as low economic de-velopment level areas and non-big data comprehensive test area cities,AI will weaken urban economic resilience.
