摘要
基于2009-2021年A股上市公司数据,探讨战略性慈善捐赠对企业可持续发展的影响及其作用机制.研究发现:战略性慈善捐赠对企业可持续发展具有显著的正向作用.机制检验表明,战略性慈善捐赠通过提升人力资本质量和缓解融资约束,进而促进企业可持续发展.异质性分析显示,在企业发展的成熟期阶段,战略性慈善捐赠具有更强的增值效应;对于媒体关注度高的企业和国有企业,战略性慈善捐赠对企业可持续发展的促进作用相对更大.
Abstract
Based on the data of A-share listed companies from 2009 to 2021,this paper explores the impact of strategic charitable donations on corporate sustainable development and its mechanism.Results show that strategic charitable dona-tions promote corporate sustainable development.Mechanism tests show that strategic charitable donations promote the enter-prises sustainable development by improving the quality of human capital and alleviating the financing constraints.Heteroge-neity analysis shows that strategic charitable donations have a more substantial value-added effect on mature-stage enter-prises,high media attention enterprises,and state-owned enterprises.
