Digital Infrastructure,Innovative Element Allocation, and Global Value Chain Embedding
Based on the Panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2021,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of digital infrastructure on GVC embeddedness, transmission mechanism, and regional differences. The results show that the construction of digital infrastructure significantly enhances the embedding degree of the global value chain, and there is a spatial spillover effect.Further analysis reveals that the promotion effect of digital infrastructure construction on the embed-ding degree of global value chains is characterized by regional heterogeneity, particularly in the central and western regions. The allocation of innovation factors mediates the relationship between digital infrastructure construction and GVC embedded-ness.The promotion effect of digital infrastructure construction on the embedding and upgrading global value chains has a non-linear characteristic, and the eastern region is more likely to receive the spillover dividends of digital infrastructure construction compared to the central and western areas.Based on this, policy recommendations are proposed to advance the deployment of digital infrastructure construction, improve the rationality of innovative factor allocation, and conduct regional differentiated development strategies.
