Impact of Digital Infrastructure Construction on Labor Income Share of Enterprises
Using data from A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2020,a multi-period double-difference model was applied to assess the impact and mechanisms of digital infrastructure construction on the labor income share of enterprises.Findings demonstrate that the"Broadband China"urban pilot policy notably elevated the overall labor income share.This was facilitated by increased wage levels,optimized employment skill structures,and reduced labor productivity.However,the technological advancement within enterprises due to the"Broadband China"urban pilot policy could potentially curtail labor income share through the substitution effect.This policy's impact on labor income share varied significantly due to di-versified enterprises'characteristics.The conclusions provide crucial policy insights to stabilize residents'labor income,foster shared prosperity,and drive Chinese modernization amidst digital transformation.
