企业规模与创新持续性——基于"坚柔并济"的双调节作用

摘要
依据动态能力理论,从组织韧性的"坚"和资源柔性的"柔"出发,基于2017-2020年中国高新技术企业的面板数据,考察了企业规模对创新持续性的影响及作用机制.结果表明:企业规模与创新持续性之间呈现非线性的倒"U"型关系;同时,组织韧性和资源柔性均在企业规模与创新持续性之间发挥负向调节作用,即弱化了企业规模与创新持续性间的倒"U"型关系.
Abstract
Based on dynamic capability theory,this paper examines the impact of firm size on innovation sustainability and its mechanism of action based on a panel of Chinese high-tech firms from 2017 to 2020 concerning the"firmness"of or-ganizational resilience and the"flexibility"of resource flexibility.The results show that the relationship between firm size and innovation persistence is non-linear and inverted U-shaped;at the same time,both organizational resilience and re-source flexibility play a negative role in regulating the relationship between firm size and innovation persistence,i.e.,weak-ening the inverted U-shaped relationship between firm size and innovation persistence is weakened.
