Transformational Leadership and Transactional Leadership:A Comparative Study on Employee Psychological Empowerment and Creativity in Entrepreneurial Hostile Context
This paper takes 209 sets of paired questionnaires of top leaders and their employees from 48 new startups as sam-ples to study from the perspective of intrinsic motivation.SPSS data analysis concludes that the transactional leadership style of top leaders of new startups indirectly promotes employee innovation by promoting psychological empowerment;executive transactional leadership style can indirectly promote employee innovation by fostering psychological empowerment.Mean-while,the transformational leadership style has no significant effects on psychological empowerment.In a turbulent environ-ment,the intermediate effect of the transactional leadership style on promoting individual creativity through psychological empowerment is further strengthened.In the context of a high level of resource relaxation,the effectiveness of transforma-tional leadership styles in entrepreneurial enterprises is fully demonstrated.The synergy between transformational leadership and resource slack of entrepreneurial enterprises accentuates the effect on employees'psychological empowerment and crea-tivity.It expands the boundary conditions for the effectiveness of local leadership from a motivational perspective.
