This paper explores the existence and situational mechanism of the peer effect of enterprise digital transformation in independent director networks.It is found that there is a significant group effect on enterprise digital transformation in in-dependent director networks.The higher the social friendliness between the independent directors and the CEO,the stronger the peer effect of enterprise digital transformation.The higher the centrality of the independent director network,the stronger the peer effect of enterprise digital transformation.Heterogeneity analysis shows that when the enterprise size and market share are in the middle level,or when the enterprise is non-state-owned,the absorption capacity is strong,the corporate governance level is high,and the industry competition is high,the peer effect of enterprise digital transformation is more sig-nificant.
