A Study on the Dynamic Evolution of China's Healthy Aging and the Driving Effect of Service Effectiveness
Actively responding to the aging of the population and achieving healthy aging are the essence of building a healthy China. In the context of China's population aging entering a moderate aging society, accurately grasping the level of realization of healthy aging in China and the driving role of service efficiency is of great practical significance for improving the well-being of the elderly and promoting the practical process of healthy aging.Based on the evolution of the concept of healthy aging and combined with China's reality, this article argues that healthy aging in the context of a healthy China actually refers to the ability of people to maintain the normal functioning of various functions, actively participate in social life, and seek their own redevelopment through creating a good environment and strengthening internal capacity building after entering old age, thus promoting the healthy development of the entire economy and society.Based on this conceptual definition, the paper constructs a measurement index system for healthy aging from three dimensions:element support, function play, and healthy development. On the basis of understanding the level and changing trends of healthy aging in China, the QAP method is further used to explore the impact of healthy aging services on the level of healthy aging. The results show that from 2014 to 2020,the level of healthy aging in China as a whole and in the three major regions has shown a steady growth trend, but the overall level is still low,and most provinces score lower than the overall average. Both the level of healthy aging and the growth rate show a pattern of high in the east and low in the west, and the absolute differences between provinces are also expanding; Moreover, there are significant regional differences in the level of healthy aging in China, but the differences show a downward trend, and the inter-regional differences have become the main source and remain stable. As for the intra-regional differences, both the eastern and western regions show a downward trend, while the central region shows a fluctuating upward trend; In terms of spatial distribution, the level of healthy aging in China is significantly different, with the eastern region developing better overall, while the northeast, southwest, and central regions have become the low-lying areas of healthy aging; In terms of spatial correlation, the level of healthy aging in China shows significant spatial dependence, with obvious high-high agglomeration characteristics in the eastern region, while the northwest and southwest regions show a continuous low-low agglomeration evolution trend; In terms of driving factors, differences in human support, material support, service accessibility, service standardiza-tion,and service efficiency in health aging services have significant positive driving effects on the formation of differences in health aging levels. However, the accessibility of health aging services has the greatest impact on the differences in health aging levels. To this end, strengthening investment in the construction of healthy aging, including service accessibility construction, human and financial investment, and promoting regional coordinated development and key regional governance, can effectively improve the level of healthy aging in China.
