Effects of Personality and Risk Perception on Taxi Drivers'Self-image
Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of taxi drivers'personality and risk per-ception on self-image.Methods 317 taxi drivers were measured by self-image scale,risk perception scale and personal-ity scale.Results The results showed that male drivers are more prone to impulsive behavior,while female drivers prefer cautions driving.Irregularity can positively predict impulsive driving behavior and negatively predict confident driving be-havior;Altruism can positively predict cautious driving behavior and negatively predict impulsive driving behavior;Sensation seeking can negatively predict cautious driving behavior and positively predict impulsive driving behavior;Anger trait can negatively predict cautious driving behavior and confident driving behavior;It can positively predict impulsive driving be-havior.Conclusion The driver's personality and risk perception have an impact on self-image.
