Research on Muscle Fatigue Experiment in the Scene of Patients for Emergency Transport Going Downstairs by Two Persons Based on sEMG
Objective The purpose is to understand the development of muscle fatigue in the scene of two person collaborative transportation of patients going downstairs,to avoid muscle fatigue causing instability in the transportation process and resulting in secondary injury to patients, and to provide experimental basis for the improvement design of stair stretchers. Methods By designing a simulated scenario of two person collaborative transportation of patients downstairs, four participants were recruited to participate in the experiment. The changes in the electromyographic ac-tivity of the brachioradialis, biceps, and triceps muscles in the lower upper arm were measured under two different body weights of 60 kg and 80 kg in a two person collaborative manner. Then, the root mean square(RMS)and median frequency(MF)of these Results three muscle groups were analyzed under different body weights. At 80 kg,the completion time and the number of layers persisted in the experiment were both less than 60 kg;The fatigue develop-ment of the biceps muscle is the fastest when the patient is transported downstairs in a collaborative manner by two people; The subjects who were far away from the handrail of the stairs developed fatigue faster than those who were close to the handrail of the stairs. Conclusion The weight of patients significantly affects the development of muscle fatigue in two person cooperative transportation patients during downstairs work.Attention should be paid to the accu-mulation of fatigue in the biceps and brachioradialis muscles during such work, especially in personnel far from the handrail side of the stairs.
