Survey-analysis of seepage problem of a dam and anti-seepage treatment measures
The problem of reservoir seepage is a hotspot and difficulty in water conservancy projects, much manpower, finan-cial and material resources needs to be devoted for seepage treatment. Based on an engineering survey example, the lithology, ge-ological structure, hydrogeology, seepage system and situation in the dam area are researched and the correspondent survey meth-od and means are put forward. In practical survey, the dam top was employed as the drilling platform, and the survey methods of groundwater observation, tracer test, color TV observation in drilling hole and water pressure test etc. were adopted to analyze and determine the seepage position, and the dam seepage scope in plane and vertical plane was determined. According to sur-veyed results and the seepage degree, the seepage scope was divided into different sub-zones and the correspondent treatment measures and suggestions were put forward. The results show that the seepage survey methods and means are effective and can provide a reference for similar engineering survey.
