Research on shear damage model of rough soil-rock interface influenced by root
To evaluate the safety and stability of soil-rock mixed slopes,it is vital to reasonably describe the shear behavior of soil-rock interface influenced by roots and roughness. In this study, based on Weibull distribution,a statistical shear damage model of soil-rock interface was established by taking the influences of root content and roughness into account.According to the experimental results, the influence functions of root content and roughness on the shear stiffness of the contact interface and model parameters were determined, and the model feasibility was verified. Then, the influences of root content, roughness, and model pa-rameters(m and w0),on the shear deformation of contact interface and damage evolution were further discussed. The results showed that root and roughness could inhibit the damage development of interface and improve the strength of interface. The dam-age model proposed in this study could describe the shear damage evolution and shear mechanics characteristics of soil-rock con-tact surface under the influence of roots and roughness, and provide a theoretical basis for accurate analysis and evaluation of shear behavior of soil-rock contact surface and stability of soil-rock mixed slope.
