Simulation on safety risk of pipe bag cofferdam contruction in strong tidal bore area
The water environment in strong tidal areas is complex and changeable, which greatly increases the difficulty of safety management of pipe bag cofferdam construction. In order to determine the key points of management and control of bag cofferdams construction from foundation clearance to maintenance in strong tidal areas, system theory process analysis(STPA)was first used to conduct a qualitative analysis of construction safety risk factors from the five major aspects of personnel, materials, management, technology, and environment. Then a system dynamics(SD)evolution model was established, and the Analytical Network Hierar-chy Process(ANP)was used to determine the weight of each indicator. Finally simulations were conducted based on engineering examples. The results showed that with the advancement of the project and the gradual increase in safety investment, the safety risk level of pipe bag cofferdam construction showed a trend of first rising sharply, then gradually declining, and finally leveling off.Personnel and materials were the main influencing factors during the foundation clearing and filling period, while environment and management were the main influencing factors during the drainage and maintenance period. In addition, personnel, management and the environment were more sensitive to safety investment variation. Therefore, during the construction process,it is necessary to pay attention to the differences in management and control priorities between different periods, promptly switch management strategies and take targeted measures to effectively reduce construction safety risks.
