Study on Urban Economic Relations and Geo-Economic Relationship of Zheng-Luo-Xi High-Quality Development Cooperation Belt
Zhengzhou,Luoyang and Xi'an high-quality development cooperation belt referred to as"Zheng-Luo-Xi cooperation belt"is a key region for achieving high-quality development in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin,and is currently facing the issues of a large gap in urban economic development and low degree of cooperation.In order to find a breakthrough to strengthen the economic ties a-mong the cities in this cooperation belt,we adopted the urban flow intensity model to modify the traditional gravitational model,measured the economic ties intensity of 15 cities in the Zheng-Luo-Xi high-quality development cooperation belt,explored the characteristics of the econom-ic ties network among the cities from the perspective of social network and measured the geo-economic relationship of each city combination by using the Euclidean distance method.The results show that a)the economic linkage network among the cities in the cooperation belt is frag-mented,the strength of economic linkage is increasing and there is still much room for improvement.Due to the influence of administrative divisions,the economic linkage among the cities is confined to cities within each province,while the economic linkage among inter-provincial cities is generally weak and unstable,showing that east-west is strong but central is weak,and proximity and jumping linkage coexist.b)Zhengzhou and Xi'an,as national central cities,are at the center of economic ties within the Zheng-Luo-Xi high-quality development co-operation belt,and their degree of centrality is generally higher than that of other cities,and their radiation effect on peripheral cities is stron-ger,making them the"strong engine"of regional economic development.c)During the study period,the overall restriction system of the cit-ies in the cooperation belt decreases,the restriction factors of the economic linkage among the cities are decreased,and Zhengzhou,Xi'an,Jiaozuo and Luoyang always occupy more structural holes and are the"gateway nodes"to connect the regional economic linkage.d)The in-ter-provincial cities in the cooperation belt are mainly in complementary geo-economic relations,while the intra-provincial cities are mainly in competitive geo-economic relations.Xi'an,Jiyuan and Sanmenxia have a greater complementary role among the inter-provincial cities and have the potential to break through the spatial distance and administrative boundaries to develop economic cooperation with other cities.
