Sensitivity Analysis of 3D Seepage in Rockfill Dam Considering Concrete Panel Cracks
In order to investigate the influence of the permeability coefficient to the seepage characteristics of a rockfill dam with cracked pan-els,taking a concrete panel rockfill dam in Qinghai Province as an example,a calculation method for saturated-unsaturated seepage consider-ing concrete panel cracks was proposed, combining the equivalent block continuous medium model and the Van Genuchten model. Then, sensitivity analysis of the seepage coefficient of the rockfill dam was conducted by using orthogonal experimental design, and the interaction effects of the seepage coefficients of different parts on the total seepage flow rate(Q)and the downstream toe seepage gradient(J)of the dam were studied by using response surface methodology. The results indicate that the sensitivity of the permeability coefficients in different zones of the dam body to Q and J varies. The three permeability coefficients that significantly affect the seepage characteristics of the dam are the sub-base permeability coefficient(Ka),the main rockfill area permeability coefficient(Kc),and the cover layer permeability Qa13 coeffi-cient(Ke).For Q,the interaction effects of the permeability coefficients in each zone are not significant, whereas for J,significant interac-tion effects are observed between Ka and Kc,as well as between Ka and Ke.
