Optimization Study on Cold Start of PG9171E Combined Cycle Unit
Through comparative experiments of cold start optimization, the differences in vary cold start processes of a certain PG9171E combined cycle gas turbine were analyzed, and the optimal gas turbine warm-up load point during the cold start process of the unit was determined. The experimental results show that compared with the cold start process of a gas turbine at full load, the optimized cold start time is shortened, and the energy-saving benefits generated by a single cold start are about 3.643 ten thousand yuan.In addition, the peak stress of the cylinder during the cold start process is reduced, and the rate of decrease after the surface stress of the rotor reaches the peak is reduced. The main steam temperature, the upper and lower wall temperature of the steam drum, and the main steam pressure rise process are smoother, the control of steam parameters is more precise, and the ability to resist disturbances is increased. The amplitude of water level changes in the steam drum and condenser is reduced, and the time for automatic water level control is increased, requiring less manual intervention. The research results can provide reference and guidance for the optimization of cold start of combined cycle units.
