SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF INTRA-PROVINCIAL MIGRATION:A CASE STUDY OF FUJIAN PROVINCE
At the late-intermediate stage of urbanization in China, the intra-provincial migration has become the leading mode of domestic migration.Under the above background, this paper takes Fujian province as a case, based on the usual residence five years"Origin-Destination"flow of intra-provincial migration data in 2020,by building migration rate indexes and using community detection method to divide the migration re-gional types, and identify the migration circles, and concise the spatial structures. The conclusion can be summarized as follows.1)Five regional types of inter-county migration are identified. The large-scale and small-scale active net in-migration types are the peripheral counties of coastal cities rather than the central districts;the small-scale active net out-migration areas are mainly distributed in the marginal counties in the inland.2)On the basis of migration flow between different migration regions, the migration network forms diverse spatial migration combinations, and six migration circles are identified.3)Based on the practice of Fujian, there are four spatial structures can be extracted. They are the inter-level migration cross-metropolitan area, the chain migration cross-metropolitan area, the multi-migration within metropolitan area, and the moving toward core within metropolitan area.
