Onion Seedling Raising and High-yield Cultivation Technologies in the Open Field
Using the advantages of less pest damage,stronger seedlings and higher yield of onion seedling transplantation compared with direct seeding,onion seedling cultivation was carried out.By selecting high-yield and disease resistant onion varieties,the disease resistance of seedlings was improved and the occurrence of soil borne diseases and seedling stage diseases were reduced by soil disinfection,achieving an annual onion seedling cultivation of 550000 plants and a net income of 16500 yuan per 667 m2.High-yield cultivation technologies for onions in the open field were explored,including water and fertilizer management,green control of pest and disease and so on.The maximum yield of onions could reach 8500 kg per 667 m2,with a net income of 4400-11300 yuan,which had significant economic benefits.
