Ecological Cultivation Technologies of Relay Cropping Phedimus aizoon Under Forestry
In order to improve the utilization rate of open space and develop the under-forestry economy, the ecological cultivation technology of Phedimus aizoon under-forestry was summarized through two years of cultivation tests for Phedimus aizoon under-forestry relay intercropping Amygdalus persica, which included orchard selection, breeding of vegetable seedling, relay intercropping, planting, field management, harvesting and so on.The relay intercropping mode could obviously improve the taste quality of Phedimus aizoon, increase the yield of 10%-20%than conventional cultivation.Phedimus aizoon had a yield of 5000-6000 kg per 667 m2,and Amygdalus persica had a yield of 1500-1750 kg per 667 m2,achieving an economic benefit of nearly 50000 yuan per 667 m2.At the same time,it reduced the weeds, diseases and occurrence of physiological fruit cracking in Amygdalus persica in the orchard. The ecological cultivation technology mode of Phedimus aizoon under-forestry relay intercropping combined with the local peach industry, had realized a good complement of advantages and obvious ecological and economic benefits, which was suitable for the southern mountainous area of China as a mode of economic development under forest.
