Effects of Different Formulas of Cultivation Material and Mycelium Germination Period on the Growth and Yield of Pleurotus geesteranus in Industrialized Cultivation
Industrialized cultivation of Pleurotus geesteranus has a large cultivation scale and a short production cycle, which requires the yield to be concentrated in the first tide fruiting body.In order to ensure the short production cycle, high yield and good quality of the single tide fruiting body for the industrialized cultivation of P.geesteranus, the different formulas of cultivation material and the appropriate mycelium germination period for the opening bags were studied by taking'Jinxiu No.1'as the experimental object.Four treatments of different formulas of cultivation material were set up to analyze the effects of each treatment on the mycelium germination period, mycelium growth vigor and fruiting body yield. The optimum formula was adopted to cultivate P.geesteranus, and four treatments of mycelium germination period were set up to analyze the effects on the growth and yield of P.geesteranus.The results showed that the yield of P.geesteranus was the highest with the formula of 15%cottonseed shell,15%corncob,26.5%sawdust,20%bagasse,20%bran,2.5%soybean meal and 1%lime,and the yield of single tide fruiting body reached 225.4 g/bag,which was extremely and significantly increased by 5.3%compared with the control, with mycelium growth quickly and two days earlier in full-bag time and one day earlier in finished harvest than those of the control,respectively.70 days was the most ideal mycelium germination period, which had explosive growth after opening the bags and completely harvest within three days which one day earlier than that of the control. The yield of fruiting body was the highest of 223.25 g/bag,which was extremely and significantly increased by 5.9%compared with the control. It is suggested that the formula above-mentioned could be adopted in the industrialized cultivation of P.geesteranus with 70 days of mycelium germination period,so as to achieve high quality and high yield of P.geesteranus.
