Experimental Study on Crushing and Extrusion Process of Kitchen Waste
Kitchen waste mainly comes from the vegetable market and the agricultural wholesale market. It mainly includes vegetable roots, vegetable leaves and some domestic waste. At present, the method of"pretreatment+anaerobic treatment"is generally adopted for kitchen waste in China. In this paper,an experimental study was performed on crushing and extrusion of kitchen waste in the pretreatment process, and the treatment effect was analyzed by adjusting the sorting frequency and optimizing the structure of the cutter head. The study results showed that the sorting frequency was directly proportional to the crushing degree of kitchen waste, and the crushing degree was related to the dehydration effect of the rear end. After the cutter head of the knife crusher had been optimized, the crushing shear on kitchen waste was further reinforced, and the water content of the solid extrusion slag reduced from 59.31%to 56.88%,The sorting results showed that organic matters on the screen of the sorting crusher were significantly reduced, improving resource utilization rate;besides, this paper compared three pretreatment methods for kitchen waste:direct extrusion, crushing extrusion and biological hydrolysis. The crushing extrusion process had the advantages of stable operation, low investment and high resource utilization rate, with a promising market prospect.
