Methodological Study on Air-ground Comparison for Aerial Monitoring of Nuclear Power Plant and Surrounding Radiation Environment
In aerial monitoring of the radiation environment in a nuclear power plant,air-to-ground comparison is an important tool and method to verify the quality of aerial monitoring data.In this paper, the area-grid method was used to select monitoring points in the Quaternary sediment, bedrock stratum area, deviation survey line, and area sea-land interface,to carry out air-ground comparison and to study the effectiveness of ground monitoring methods and the rationality of location selection. The results showed:The relative deviation of the monitoring points for comparison in the Quaternary sediment area was-8.8%to 9.7%;the relative deviation of the monitoring points for comparison in the bedrock stratum area was-9.1%to 15.8%;and the relative deviation of the comparison points for comparison in the deviation survey line and the sea land intersection area was 3.0%to 44.3%.The research showed that the area-grid method was well applied in the air-ground contrast research on aerial monitoring of radiation environment;the effect of open space comparison in Quaternary sediment and bedrock strata area was good, which could be used as the basis for selecting air-ground comparison points for monitoring radiation environment;affected by many factors, the comparison effect between the deviation survey line and the sea-land interface was poor, which should be-come the key research points and consideration for subsequent air-ground comparison. This study can provide a reference for the research of aerial monitoring technology for radiation environment of nuclear facilities, and also provide a basic data research and analysis method for accurate analysis of the change trend of radiation environment of nuclear facilities and their surroundings, the rule of nuclide migration, and the emergency response to nuclear accidents.
