Analysis on Dynamic Changes of Vegetation in Transmission Line Construction Area Based on Trend Analysis Method
Recently, the extensive investment in the construction of power transmission lines has posed a potential threat to the local ecological environment.Understanding the ecological disturbance caused by related construction projects is crucial. In this paper, the trend analysis method, the variation coefficient method and other methods were used to analyze the impacts of construction of the 1000 kV UHV AC power transmission and transformation project(Nanchang)on the environment for the growth of regional vegetation and land use change before and after construction for the year 2008 to 2022 based on MODIS NDVI and land use of multi-source remote sensing data. The results indicated a slight decline in NDVI within 10 km of the transmission lines, decreasing from 0.745 in 2008 to 0.724 in 2022.Land use transformation in the study area was characterized by the conversion of arable land to other land classes, with the main impact during the construction period.Overall, the construction of the power transmission lines has caused relatively minor disturbances to the ecological environment in the study area. This research provides a theoretical basis and data support for similar projects in the region, specifically for power transmission projects and ecological environment protection.
