Analysis on Compound Pollutant Characteristics of PM2.5 and O3 in Xuzhou from 2019 to 2023
Based on the Chinese Air Quality Monitoring Network and the component monitoring data from Xuzhou Super Atmospheric Station from 2019 to 2023,this study analyzed the pollution characteristics and interrelationships of PM2.5 and O3 in Xuzhou, evaluated the Ozone Formation Potential(OFP)and Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation Potential(SOA),and screened out key VOCs components that contributed significantly to the formation of O3 and secondary organic components. The results showed that the atmosphere in Xuzhou exhibited composite pollution characteristics of O3 pollution in spring and summer, and PM2.5 pollution in autumn and winter. There was a correlation between O3-8h and PM2.5;when ρ(PM2.5)≤35 μg/m3,it showed a weak positive correlation;when 35 μg/m3<ρ(PM2.5)115 μg/m3,it showed a weak negative correlation;and in summer, they showed a positive correlation both.PM2.5 was obviously a secondary product, and atmospheric oxidizability had an important impact on PM2.5.Among the volatile organic compounds(VOCs)components, alkanes accounted for the highest proportion;aromatics and olefins contribute significantly to OFP;and aromatics had the most significant contribution to SOA.By analyzing the pollution characteristics of PM2.5,O3,and their precursor VOCs,a reference was provided for the coordinated management of PM2.5 and O3,and the key components for VOCs emission reduction were defined.
