Influence Factors and Generation Mechanism of Public Participation in Low-carbon Behavior Under the Background of"Carbon Peakding and Carbon Neutrality"——Empirical Analysis Based on TPB-NAM Integration Model
The carbon emissions generated from human activities are one of the important causes of global climate changes.Under the"Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality"goal, exploring the generation mechanism and influence factors of public participation in low-carbon behavior and promoting the transformation of the public towards a more environmentally friendly and green lifestyle, are important links in alleviating the problems of limited energy resources and achieving sustainable development of an energy conservation and emission reduction society. In this paper, the TPB-NAM integrated model was adopted and empirical analysis was conducted on the influence factors of public willingness to participate in low-carbon behavior based on 503 survey questionnaires to demonstrate the generation mechanism of participation behavior. The results indicated that the TPB-NAM integrated model can effectively explain and predict the willingness of the public to participate in low-carbon behavior. At last, based on the actual situation of policy promotion under the"Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality"goal, the mechanism of public participation in low-carbon behavior were discussed from both objective conditions and subjective effects.
