Research on Site Selection of Emergency Water Source in Mega Cities Based on AHP and Fuzzy Mathematics Evaluation
Frequent extreme climate events pose a threat to the water security of large cities. The purpose of this paper is to improve the efficiency and suitability of site selection, and ensure that the basic water needs of residents are met in emergency through improving the selection and evaluation methods of emergency water sources.Firstly, the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was used to analyze the key factors influencing the selection of water sources and determine the weights of these factors.Based on this, further site selection for emergency water source was conducted, and a multi-criteria fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to assess the suitability of the selected sites. The results showed that the three candidate emergency water sources identified through this method significantly improve the efficiency and suitability of site selection, making them suitable as emergency water sources for large cities in Sichuan province. The proposed method overcomes the subjectivity and low efficiency of traditional site selection methods, significantly enhancing the scientific and suitability of site selection. It provides important reference value for selecting emergency water sources for large cities, effectively ensuring water security under extreme climate conditions.
