Inspection and Improvement of the Position Control in Ancient Tomb Robbery under the New Situation
With the continuous development of science and technology,thecrimeof excavating ancient tomb has gradu-ally shown thecharacteristics of specialization,intellectualization and violence,which seriously threatens the security of our cultural relics.The position control has always been an important means for public securityorgans to detect cases of ancient tomb robbery,but it has exposed many deficiencies under the complex and changeable situation of crime.First,some of the investigation organs are not sufficiently aware of the importance of the position control.Second,investigation organs lack enough control capacity.Third,the control methods are outdated.Fourth,Lacking of good cooperation between diverse de-partments.In this regard,investigation organs should update the concept of control,broaden the scope of control,innovate control methods and establish amulti-sectoral cooperation mechanism,so that it can strengthen the important role of posi-tion control in combating and preventing the crime of excavating ancient tomb.
