Currently, the quantitative assessment model for the social dangerousness of arrest assists prosecutors to some extent in making judgments on the conditions for arresting individuals based on their social dangerousness.Howev-er,this model encounters several issues in its specific design and practical application:Firstly, some assessment factors are inadequately rationalized;Secondly, the representativeness of selected samples is insufficient or their quality is poor;Thirdly, there is a lack of transparency and fairness in the assessment process;Fourthly, the applicability of as-sessment conclusions lacks reasonable limitations and is difficult to revise. To ensure that the quantitative assessment model for the social dangerousness of arrest more appropriately serves the decision-making in criminal proceedings,it is necessary to:properly define assessment factors to align assessment results with the intended function of arrest;im-prove the scientific basis of sample selection to ensure the representativeness and reliability of assessment samples;bal-ance the demands for transparency and fairness in assessment procedures to guarantee openness and fairness;clearly define the limitations and revisability of assessment conclusions to enhance the scientific and rational use of assessment results.
