文章基于 2011-2020 年成渝地区双城经济圈 16 个地(市)的面板数据,采用改进熵值法测度双城经济圈数字经济和经济发展质量水平,运用复合生态系统模型分析数字经济、人口结构与经济发展质量三个系统的耦合协调度指数,运用普通面板回归模型、中介效应模型和面板门槛模型实证分析数字经济对于双城经济圈高质量发展的促进效应、人口结构转型的中介效应以及地方金融监管和财政科技支出的调节效应.研究结果表明:(1)双城经济圈数字经济水平不断提高,但地(市)间差距较大,双核城市明显高于其他非核城市;(2)双城经济圈数字经济、人口结构与经济发展质量的耦合协调度不断提升,但整体上仍处于初级和中级协调阶段;(3)数字经济有力地促进了双城经济圈高质量发展,而且人口结构转型升级发挥了显著的中介作用,金融监管和财政科技支出发挥了强有力的调节作用.为推进双城经济圈高质量发展,应全面推进数字经济圈建设,合力打造数字经济高地;抢抓数字经济发展机遇,做好"人口文章",持续释放"人口红利";对数字经济实施科学适度审慎的市场监管,不断提升财政支持科技的力度.
Abstract
The article is based on panel data from 16 cities within the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,span-ning from 2011 to 2020.It employs an improved entropy method to assess the levels of digital economy and economic de-velopment quality within the circle.The study utilizes a composite ecosystem model to analyze the coupling coordination index of the digital economy,population structure,and economic development quality.It also empirically examines the promotional effect of the digital economy on the high-quality development of the economic circle,the mediating role of population structure transformation,and the regulatory impact of local financial supervision and fiscal technology ex-penditure,using ordinary panel regression models,mediation effect models,and panel threshold models.The findings re-veal that:(1)the level of the digital economy in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is continuously improving,al-though significant disparities exist between cities,with core cities performing notably better than non-core ones;(2)the coupling coordination among the digital economy,population structure,and economic development quality is progress-ively improving,yet remains primarily in the initial and intermediate stages of coordination;(3)the digital economy signi-ficantly fosters the high-quality development of the economic circle,with the transformation and upgrading of the popula-tion structure playing a crucial mediating role,and financial supervision along with fiscal technology expenditure exerting a strong regulatory influence.To further promote the high-quality development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,it is recommended to intensively develop the digital economy,create a hub for digital economic growth,capitalize on digital economy opportunities,focus on population strategies,and continue to harness the demographic dividend.Addi-tionally,implementing scientifically sound and cautious market supervision of the digital economy,coupled with increas-ing financial support for technology,is advised.
