Study on the Impact of New Infrastructure on the Green Utilization Efficiency of Industrial Land
The new infrastructure not only offers innovative approaches for the construction and management of urb-an industrial land but also plays a crucial role in promoting the city's intensive and green development.Utilizing panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020 and employing a two-way fixed effects model, this study investigates the influence and variability of new infrastructure levels on the green utilization efficiency of industrial land. The empirical findings reveal that overall, new infrastructure did not uniformly enhance the green utilization efficiency of industrial land. However, during the sample period,it was observed that within the three main aspects of new infrastructure("information infrastructure""integrated infrastructure"and"innovative infrastructure"),both"information infrastructure"and"innov-ative infrastructure"significantly contributed to the enhancement of green utilization efficiency, whereas"integrated infra-structure"had a notable adverse effect.Regarding regional differences, the impact of new infrastructure was found to be positively associated with the northeast region and negatively with the eastern and central regions, though these correla-tions were not statistically significant.A significant negative impact was observed in the western region.
