Analysis of dynamic effects of concrete slabs under continuous amplitude impacts
In order to study the dynamic effects of concrete slabs under continuous amplitude impacts, three continuous amplitude numerical simulation tests were conducted on plain concrete slab by using the LS-DYNA.The failure modes, system energy time-history curves and deflection time-history curves of the concrete slab were analyzed. The results show that under continuous amplitude impacts, the damage area of the concrete slab gradually increases, the depth and the width of the oblique cracks expand, the impact response becomes more complex and the failure modes become more difficult to predict. With the increase of impact times, the concrete slab continuously absorbs energy, but after severe damage, the energy absorption capacity would weaken. The concrete slab exhibits significant elastic and plastic behavior under continuous amplitude impacts.
