Correlation study between compression indicator and basic physical index of Kunming peat soil
Peat soil is a kind of special soil which has an important effect on the settlement of buildings, and its compression indicator is an important index affecting the engineering safety.Regression analysis was carried out on the coefficient of compressibility and compression index of the survey data in Kunming area. The regression model was established.One-dimensional consolidation tests were carried out for peat soil in four different sites in Kunming area, and the applicability of the regression model was verified based on the test results and similar empirical formulas at home and abroad. The results show that the coefficient of compressibility α1-2 and compression index Cc have a highly correlated linear relationship with the natural water content ω0 and the initial pore ratio e0.The relationship between compression index and initial pore ratio is expressed as Cc=0.15e0-0.17.The regression model is in good agreement with the experimental results and similar empirical formulas at home and abroad.
