There are plenty of old existing buildings in China.A large number of the buildings built before the 1990s used prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs for floors and roofs.Through literature research and field investigation,existing prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs were systematically reviewed from the aspects of development history,application status,performance evaluation and reinforcement method,the safety hazards of existing prestressed concrete hollow-core slab were summarized.The shortcomings of performance evaluation and reinforcement method of prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs were pointed out for the subsequent research.
