Monitoring and analysis of hydration heat temperature of mass concrete in radiation shielding structure of a proton therapy center
The prediction models and heat transfer parameters of concrete hydration heat release were firstly compared. The hydration heat release temperature of mass concrete was monitored in the building test section of a tumor proton therapy center, and the distribution of its internal temperature field was obtained.Furthermore, appropriate calculation parameters were selected for the full-scale model finite element analysis. The results show that the calculation results of the hydration heat release model in Standard for construction of mass concrete(GB 50496-2018)are in the best agreement with the measured results. Finally, the factors affecting the hydration heat release of this type mass concrete were analyzed by parameters and the characteristics of this type engineering were analyzed. The measures to reduce hydration heat, such as reducing the amount of cement, using low-heat cement, optimizing the temperature of mixture placing to mold, and increasing the thermal insulation and curing measures, were compared. The analysis results show that the use of low-heat cement and reducing the amount of cement are the most effective in reducing hydration heat release and internal temperature level, and whether to increase the thermal insulation and curing measures has the most significant impact on the concrete temperature difference of core and surface.
