An Analysis of the Growth of Phoebe zhennan in Sichuan
Based on the investigation of Phoebe zhennan resources in the Sichuan Basin region,they were mainly conserved in semi-nature conditions,scattering on ＂four-side＂ or in temples,large-scale planttations were relatively less,and their afforestation effect was poor.The diameter distribution regularity of Phoebe zhennan trees under natural condition displayed a normal distribution,and the distribution of their diameter grade had a high discrete degree.When planted in a large area,Phoebe zhennan and Chinese fir or Phoebe zhennan and Masson pine should be used in the Sichuan Basin region,and planting on ＂four-side＂ should adopt single line or double line modes.
