Research on ecological sensitivity of Bailuwan Wetland Park based on GIS technology
Bailuwan Wetland Park,as the first urban wetland park in Chengdu, has significant ecological, social, and economic values.Five ecological factors, including vegetation coverage, water area, land use type, elevation and slope, were selected to evaluate the ecological sensitivity of Bailuwan Wetland Park using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and weighted superposition method. The landscape changes of the wetland in different years were compared, and the ecological sensitivity results were compared with those of different wetland parks in China. The results showed that the proportion of very low sensitivity, low sensitivity, medium sensitivity, high sensitivity, and very high sensitivity in Bailuwan Wetland Park was 12.49%,32.96%,19.86%,12.86%,and 19.83%,respectively.The proportion of low sensitivity and medium sensitivity areas constituted the largest share, accounting for 52.82%of the total area, which exceeded that of the same type of wetland park in China.Consequently, the comprehensive ecological sensitivity of Bailuwan Wetland Park was deemed moderately sensitive. From 2007 to 2023,the landscape structure of Bailuwan Wetland Park had undergone continuous improvement, which required more scientific management and protection,as well as continuous monitoring and evaluation.According to the varying sensitive areas, corresponding restoration and protection measures were formulated to provide a scientific theoretical basis for land use planning and ecological environmental protection management of Bailuwan Wetland Park.
