一次西南涡影响下四川盆地夏季暴雨过程昼夜降水的对比分析

Comparative Analysis of Diurnal Precipitation during Summer Rainstorm in Sichuan Basin under the Influence of a Southwest Vortex

本文利用四川省国家气象站观测数据、地面加密观测数据和国家气象信息中心格点降水资料,结合欧洲中期天气预报中心(ECMWF)的ERA5再分析资料、美国国家环境预报中心(NCEP)的FNL再分析资料,对四川盆地 2020年 8月 15-16日一次西南涡影响下暴雨的昼夜特征进行对比分析,研究西南涡控制下昼夜降水特征的异同.结果表明:(1)西南涡在整个过程中表现为夜间增强而日间减弱,夜间暴雨和日间暴雨在西南涡影响下存在明显差异.夜间暴雨和日间暴雨 6 h累计降水量分别为 174.7 mm、104.6 mm,且夜间的降水强度和区域明显大于日间.(2)西南涡影响下昼夜暴雨的垂直上升运动场也存在明显差异,夜间暴雨的上升运动强烈,上升气流最高可达 150 hPa(对流层顶)且范围明显大于日间降水.(3)西南涡影响下夜间降水和日间降水均有明显的高湿区且范围随时间变化不断扩大.夜间时段比湿强度、气柱可降水量均明显强于日间时段,且存在较强的水汽通量辐合.夜间水汽输送偏强是导致其降水量显著高于日间的主要因素之一.
Based on the ERA5 reanalysis data from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF),precipitation data from National Meteorological Information Centre(NMC)and FNL analysis data from National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP),the diurnal periods of heavy rain under the influence of a southwest vortex in Sichuan Basin from August 15 to 16,2020 was compared and analyzed,the differences and similarities of the diurnal precipitation characteristics under the control of southwest vortex were discussed.The results showed that:(1)The southwest vortex enhanced at night and weakened in the daytime during the whole pro-cess,and there were significant differences in the precipitation between the nighttime rainstorm and the daytime rainstorm under the influ-ence of the southwest vortex.The cumulative precipitation of the nightime rainstorm was 174.7 mm,while the cumulative precipitation of daytime rainstorm was 104.6 mm,and the intensity and region of the precipitation at night was significantly greater than that in the daytime.(2)Under the influence of the southwest vortex,the vertical ascending motion of the nighttime rainstorm was strong,and the updraft reached up to 150 hPa(tropopause),and the range was obviously larger than that of the daytime rainfall.(3)Under the influence of south-west vortex,there were obvious high humidity areas in nighttime precipitation and daytime precipitation,and the range expanded with time.The specific humidity intensity and air column precipitable water in the nighttime period were significantly stronger than those in the daytime period,and there was a strong water vapor flux convergence.The strong water vapor transport at night was one of the main factors that caused the precipitation to be significantly higher than that during the day.
